What a way to end a series. I wanted to cry many times while reading this book, it was so good and there were lots of tough moments. I loved getting to see where everyone ended up at the end of the series and how everything tied in together, but I am a little upset with some of our losses. Okay, maybe not a little upset, maybe very upset. But this book was seriously so good.

We got the full run down on Morgan’s family line and what was up with her powers- and how Draven unexpectedly has a pretty important role in this mix! I wasn’t really expecting this plot twist, but I really did enjoy it. I also think that the major plot twist in this book was done very well, it was definitely hinted at but was also not super obvious throughout the series (at least to me) and I was really here for it.

This book kept me on my toes the entire time, I was trying to come up with solutions to every problem that arose in a way that would mean everybody got the HEA that I expected, but that was not what happened. Every time something bad would happen I would be like “well no, obviously whatever this is isn’t going to actually happen, maybe somebody will save them or some new power will save them”- and then they did not get saved and I was left to sit there going “wtf just happened?” while reminding myself it’s just a book it can’t hurt me (lies, it can and did hurt me.) But I swear it was in a good way! I really did enjoy reading this book! I would say it is the most intense book out of the series, so be warned. Even being intense, I will probably end up rereading this at some point.

Overall, go get this book! And if you haven’t read the other three, go read those first! And then come back and read this one. :)
